What is Ebony Rustic Solid Oak Flooring?

The Rustic grade oak flooring basically means that the oak contains knots, splits, cracks and general character through out the boards, the rustic grade is a very popular flooring type as the character within the oak floors can really set off a look or theme through out the property.  The rustic floor is usually suited the more older property, a cottage or barn conversion.  The Oak used  is American White Oak, the oak is machined in our UK mills.
The oak flooring is then pre finished by us in an Ebony Oil.  The ebony really darkens the oak and shows the natural beauty of the grain pattern and the oaks characteristics.  The oil soaks into the timber rather than sitting on top of the timber giving a real natural look and also prevents the flooring from scratching easily.  This flooring is a real quality oak flooring.

The rustic ebony solid oak flooring is available in a range of widths, the smallest width being a 4″ and the largest been a 9″.  The flooring is also available at a standard 20mm thick, if you do require a different thickness or width to what you can see available, then please do let us know and we can help.

The lengths supplied are 1.2 – 2.4m Lengths and the profile is micro bevel on this flooring.
