What is Rustic Solid Oak Flooring?
The rustic solid oak flooring is seen with knots and general character through out the boards. As the beautiful characteristics are present within the boards, you usually find that the rustic oak floors are installed in the more older properties, cottages or barn conversions. The rustic oak flooring is one of the more popular floors.
We supply the antique rustic solid oak floors in a range of widths which you can choose from. The widths range from a 4″ right the way through to a 9″ wide board. The lengths of the boards are supplied in random lengths from 1.2 – 2.m. The flooring is supplied with a micro bevel profile.
The rustic oak floors are sold on a pallet and not in boxes, the price shown is per sqm.
We manufacture this Rustic solid oak flooring within our UK mills. We use American White Oak to manufacture our floors. We supply the rustic oak floors with an Antique finish which is hand finished within our mill. The antique oak stain is a few shades darker than the natural oak with no finish but the antique oak give a much more rich colour and really brings out the grain pattern as you can see in the picture above. We use a Treatex oil to finish all our solid oak or engineered floors. The reason for this is because the oil soaks into the timber which is how you can see all the natural characteristics more clearly. As the oil soaks into the timber rather than sitting on top of the timber, it makes the maintenance much easier and also prevents the flooring from scratching or marking as easy. This oak flooring is a very hard waring product.
As we manufacture this product and it is a unique product with the spec chosen by yourself, the delivery is usually around 7-10 days.
