Treatex Medium Oak Floor Stain

Will the Treatex Medium Oak Stain Change the colour of my Oak Flooring once applied?

The Treatex medium oak flooring stain is used to change the colour of your American White Oak Flooring, whether it be solid oak or engineered oak.  The medium oak tends to change the colour of the oak to a more honey colour.  Once the stain has been applied to the floor, you will notice how the grain pattern really stands out beautifully, which is one feature as to why people like to change the colour of the oak.
We advice our customer to apply this Treatex product with a Lint Free Cloth.  Some people automatically think to use a brush, the reason we advise our customers don’t use a brush, is so you get a more natural finish and that no brush marks will appear once it has dried.

When staining a floor, we recommend that you use an oil as it soaks into the timber, again giving a really natural finish, another reason is because it prevents the floor from scratching easily.  A varnish or lacquer sits on top of the surface, meaning the floor would then scratch much easier.

The Medium Oak is available in a 2.5L tin, which covers 50m2 with 1 coats.
