How do I apply the Treatex Ebony Oak Flooring Stain?

The Treatex Ebony flooring stain is so easy to apply.  We recommend that you apply this stain using a lint free cloth.  Using a lint free cloth eliminates any brush marks that you would get in the oak when using a brush.  The oil is to be applied as thinly as possible, it isn’t a paint so be careful not to put it on thick.  Applying a thick coat can double the drying time and also create bubbles.  Once the stain has been applied it actually soaks into the timber rather than sitting on top of it, that is one of the reasons why we actually recommend this product, as it doesn’t scratch or mark easily like a varnish or lacquer.  It will also bring the natural grain pattern out within the solid oak or engineered oak beautifully.
The Ebony oak flooring oil, is used to really darken the oak.

The Ebony Oil will need two coats of the oil to get the finish which you require.

This particular flooring stain is available in a 2.5L tin, which covers 50m2 with 2 coats.

This particular Treatex product is for interior use only.  If you are wanting to also use this product for other wooden/oak surfaces, you can do.
